Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Life Vault website, download pages, app information, and app features operated by Lunexa Labs. By using Life Vault, you agree to these terms.

Effective date and operator

Effective June 16, 2026. Life Vault is operated by Lunexa Labs. References to Life Vault, we, us, or our mean Lunexa Labs and the Life Vault product, website, download pages, app information, and related services.

Product purpose and limits

Life Vault is an organization tool for personal records, family readiness, emergency information, legal and estate references, digital legacy notes, backups, recovery checks, and exports. Life Vault does not verify the truth, completeness, legality, enforceability, ownership, authenticity, or current status of any record, file, instruction, policy, account, medical reference, legal document, asset, subscription, nominee note, or export.

Not professional advice

Life Vault does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, insurance, estate, fiduciary, emergency, security, or healthcare advice. It does not replace lawyers, doctors, financial advisors, insurers, accountants, emergency services, estate planners, executors, trustees, government agencies, or professional record systems. You are responsible for consulting qualified professionals before relying on information for important decisions.

Your information and decisions

You are solely responsible for the information you enter, import, attach, back up, restore, export, print, copy, share, delete, or rely on. You are responsible for keeping records accurate, current, lawful, authorized, and appropriate for your use. Readiness scores, reminders, categories, prompts, warnings, and status labels are organizational aids only and are not guarantees that anything is complete, valid, recoverable, legally effective, medically appropriate, financially accurate, or emergency-ready.

Backup, recovery, and data loss responsibility

You are solely responsible for keeping recovery keys, backup passwords, device passcodes, backup files, exported files, app store accounts, cloud accounts, and device access secure and available. Lost or incorrect recovery material, forgotten PINs, corrupted backup files, failed uploads or downloads, failed restore attempts, device loss, device damage, operating system changes, app updates, storage limits, accidental deletion, user error, cloud provider issues, app store issues, network outages, or technical failures may cause permanent data loss or unrecoverable encrypted data. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lunexa Labs is not responsible for data loss, backup failure, restore failure, export loss, device failure, cloud service failure, network failure, app store failure, or inability to access encrypted records.

Cloud Backup and technical services

Cloud Backup and related services are optional and provided for convenience. They may be unavailable, delayed, interrupted, limited, changed, suspended, or discontinued. Uploads, downloads, previews, integrity checks, restore checks, and status indicators may fail or be incomplete. You should keep independent backups and should not rely on Life Vault or Cloud Backup as your only storage, only backup, only emergency source, or only recovery method.

Exports and shared copies

Exports are created at your direction. Once information is exported, printed, downloaded, shared, copied, or stored outside the app, it may no longer be protected by Life Vault controls. You are solely responsible for exported copies, recipients, storage locations, permissions, loss, misuse, disclosure, and deletion.

Accounts, stores, payments, and subscriptions

App availability, features, pricing, trials, subscriptions, renewals, refunds, taxes, payment processing, family sharing, and cancellation rules may vary by platform and region. App stores and payment providers may apply their own terms, privacy policies, fees, rules, and decisions. Lunexa Labs is not responsible for app store outages, payment-provider failures, store listing delays, device compatibility, operating system restrictions, or third-party account issues.

Acceptable use

You must not use Life Vault to store, create, transmit, export, or share unlawful content; violate rights of others; access information without authorization; bypass security; interfere with the service; reverse engineer restricted parts of the service; upload malware; misuse support; or use Life Vault in a way that creates legal, safety, privacy, security, or operational harm.

Third-party services and links

Life Vault may depend on or link to app stores, operating systems, cloud infrastructure, hosting providers, analytics, crash reporting, email providers, support tools, payment processors, and other third-party services. Lunexa Labs does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their content, policies, availability, security, errors, failures, or data practices.

Changes, suspension, and termination

Lunexa Labs may change, limit, suspend, discontinue, or remove features, plans, content, websites, download pages, support channels, or services at any time, subject to applicable law. You may stop using Life Vault at any time. Some local data may remain on your device or in your backups unless you delete it.

No warranties

Life Vault is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lunexa Labs disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, reliability, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, backup success, restore success, data preservation, or suitability for emergency, legal, medical, financial, estate, family, or professional use.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lunexa Labs and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, suppliers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages; loss of data; lost profits; lost revenue; lost goodwill; business interruption; device failure; technical failure; cloud failure; network failure; app store failure; backup failure; restore failure; export loss; unauthorized access; disclosure; corruption; deletion; inaccurate records; reliance on reminders or readiness scores; or inability to use Life Vault, even if advised that such damages may occur. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any total liability for claims relating to Life Vault is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Lunexa Labs for Life Vault in the twelve months before the claim or USD 50.

Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lunexa Labs and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, suppliers, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your information, exports, shared copies, misuse of Life Vault, violation of these terms, violation of law, violation of third-party rights, or reliance on Life Vault contrary to these terms.

Website content

This website is public product information. It is not the Life Vault web vault, a login portal, a private records dashboard, an emergency response tool, or a professional advice service. Website content may change and may contain errors or outdated information.

Privacy

Use of Life Vault is also governed by the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for understanding how local records, Cloud Backup, exports, app stores, support messages, and third-party services may affect your information.
